APPLICATION NAME:

PeopleSoft Human Resource Management System (HRMS)

FUNCTION:

To access data in the Princeton University Human Resources, Payroll, and Benefits system

LEVELS OF ACCESS

Departmental users may choose from two types of view only access to the PeopleSoft HRMS. Department Manager access will allow the user to see salary data in addition to job, personal, and identification data. Department Administrator access will allow the same data access as Manager but without salary information. Departmental users should also indicate whether they should see data for Faculty, Staff, or Graduate Students, as determined by business unit.

Central office users (Human Resources, Payroll, Dean of the Faculty, Graduate School, PPPL HR, Library HR Offices, etc.) may have either update or view only access to data for business units appropriate to their job function. The system administrator or supervisor within the department will determine what type of access the user should have.

WHO SHOULD REQUEST ACCESS:

Central office users should ask their Systems Administrator in the HR, Dean of the Faculty, PPPL HR, Payroll, or Grad School Offices on their behalf

GAIN ACCESS:

Complete the form located at http://support.princeton.edu/asa/HR_dept_access_form.pdf .

When prompted to login, please use your NetID and NT Password.

INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS:

Internet Explorer (v. 5.5 or higher) is the preferred browser for PCs.

TYPICAL RESPONSE TIME:

After your application has been received, please expect to hear from the HelpDesk within one business day with instruction on how to sign into the system.

or contact Janice Guarnieri (OIT Training) for more information.

Central office users should contact their Systems Administrator.

DOCUMENTATION:
